From Ferns and Fiddleheads to Moss and Mist...

Moss & Mist Jewelry is my love of nature. In it's color, misty woods, flora and fauna, and organic lines. In it is all the inspiration that I need to imagine the jewelry designs I love to create.

I am a very busy girl... small business owner with my husband, photographer, and volunteer worker, but without a creative outlet I go bonkers. So by night I am a wirework jewelry crusader. I sit in my comfiest clothes with my kittehs and a glass of wine and I wrap.

When I first started making jewelry almost ten years ago, I tried anything and everything, but with no real focus. When I bought some cheap wire and made the first prototype of the rings you see here in my shop, I got butterflies of excitement. I just knew this was my niche and I've never looked back. When I make my rings, I see the spirals in Fiddlehead fronds. In the rich gemstones, I see the colors and romance in vibrant sunsets, green ferns, golden woods, blue skies, rich earth, and starry nights.

To be able to share my art and have it connect emotionally with others is such an irresistible pleasure. It doesn't get better than that for me.
